super assutador man, minha nossa, mal espero pela versão final, achei demais, me lembrou demais outlast, cara ficou muito bem produzido em relação a graficos gameplay, e a mecanica de sustos e envolvimento com efeitos sonoros e o clima que no jogo é feito

Really enjoyed this, especially the jumpscares towards the end - they were a lot to handle. It was quite easy to get lost in the sewers to begin with but overall a good experience. would absolutely play a full version/ updated one! Good effort Mr developer!
Check out my video below and watch me get scared to death!

Pretty awesome!! One thing I kinda got irritated on, was when the monster came in, there was confusion in where to go, and having to start over every time lol.

(+1)

Please try to ignore minor audio issues, as the game itself is, admittedly a little confusing and dark looking at some areas, was a interesting experience. Am waiting for the full release and hope to get more scare jumps hehe~

Phenomenal demo! I had a few gripes with the camera filter (the vhs effect was way too heavy) but other than that it was really fun and I can’t wait to see the finished product!

(+2)

It was too dark, it was a pain in the ass to find my way, I just gave up trying to find the doors and corridors. :(

Hey wait a min! this game was good! had a few jump scares! I wanted more! i love the whole idea of using a camera! reminds me of outlast! good work and I can't wait to see more! Here is my walk through if anyone is interested

It was a pretty fun game, the atmosphere was great as well as the sound effects, great job :)

I just want to start out by saying... THIS GAME GOT ME GOOD! Everything from the Atmosphere, Visuals & Setting made this game a really unsettling experience! But the Sound Design is what really made me happy! It is VERY well made, and I think most horror games don't focus on it enough. Since this is a demo, I know there wouldn't be too much story present, but I honestly liked the mystery of it. Not knowing what it all means added to the spookiness.

The only thing that could of helped me in my experience, was to maybe define a bit more of what the battery you were looking for, is actually for. (ex. Find the Battery for the Camera) or something of that nature. That way im not aimlessly walking in the dark with the Camera that doesn't fully work yet. XD

Overall I really enjoyed this experience and can't wait to see what is next for the game!

I got MAJOR Outlast vibes from this, and i love what you were going for.

If this was made by one person, that's very impressive !

Here's my playthrough of the demo if you'd like to give it a watch :)

ITS SO DARK IN HERE! IF ONLY I COULD SEE | A Single Horror Game

a good short horror game, will defo be checking out the full release when it drops. would recommend.

I FEEL CURSED! THANKS, the entire atmosphere and the feel of the game was pure evil. Def gave me Amnesia vibes. Thanks once again!

(+1)

I was definitely impressed, finding that ladder made me feel really stupid. 3rd game here!

This game knows how to use silence to build solid tension, that's the mark of a strong and confident horror developer. That being said, I'm hoping there is a lot of consideration for the story because this gameplay can't be all there is to the game. I'd hate to see this competent idea become another generic horror game but I'm sure you guys know what you're doing!

Is there a specific twitter or website we can follow for updates on this project?

Thanks for making games!

Lilith's Curse 1984 | A Game You CAN'T Win

Hey @Koniipinka! A couple things I wanted to say as I end up being very critical in the video and don’t want to just come across as a dick -

  • The game spends too long in the dark - one hallway of pitch darkness with light at the end would be fine, but the beginning section is a bit much and feels frustrating more than scary. Yes you can follow the signs, but there’s no reason you can’t brighten the game up just enough to be able to see a short distance ahead and to get a vague idea of the level layout.
  • The demo is short, but you NEED to add checkpoints; not only is the beginning not fun to play but doing it a second time is going to turn players off.
  • I don’t know if my game was bugged, but your first enemy encounter with the coffin punishes players for following your instructions. That’s an immediate “turn it off and never play it again” situation that needs to be fixed. You just can’t ship a game that does that. If backing up gets me killed, and hiding in the coffin gets me killed, why would I play the game a 3rd time?

Those are the main 3 things. Your presentation is good and it’s clear you have talent, but your game won’t have the impact you’re looking for if you don’t redesign some elements of it.

And I understand game dev is hard and it’s easy for me to say “this doesn’t work” or “this needs to change” but unfortunately it’s just as important to think of the end user experience in all their ignorance as it is to fulfil your own vision.

But that’s it from me. Keep it up, and hopefully the full release is DARN good!
